Please cancel your appointment if you are feeling unwell or if you have been in contact with someone with Covid.

Please be mindful that I do not allow anyone else to join you at your appointment, including children. This is your time! There is plenty of parking in Duke Street car park and around Newlyn.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

 

PREGNANCY

The only facial treatments suitable during pregnancy are dermaplaning and the Brightening Boost. All advanced/medi facials are not suitable. If you are breastfeeding you are able to book in for a wider range of facials but please get in contact first.

SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING

All active infections, prone to Keloid scarring, psoriasis and eczema on the face, diabetes, open wounds, active acne, cancer, autoimmune diseases, blood born diseases, rosacea, any recent scar tissue/surgery. Please wait 3 weeks post botox and dermal fillers, 4 weeks post peels/microbladinng. Isotretanoin must be stopped minimum of 6 months before treatment. All retinol, AHA/BHA's should be stopped 7 days prior to treatment. If you suffer with herpes simplex a course of antiviral treatment is recommended to prevent outbreaks after 'trauma' to your skin.

DERMALUX LED LIGHT THERAPY

Epilepsy or seizures triggered by light, porphyria, autoimmune conditions, photosensitive eczema, hypomelanism, active cancer.

GREEN PEEL

All active infections, psoriasis and eczema on the face, open wounds, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, severe acne, cancer/cancer treatment, recent surgery, rosacea. Please wait 4 weeks post microdermabrasion/microneedling, 6 weeks post AHA /BHA Retinol peels, Microblading 4 weeks, IPL or laser also 4 weeks, stop the use of Retinol 4 weeks prior, AHAs BHAs stopped 2 weeks prior. If you are taking St John's Wort this should also be stopped 4 weeks prior. No use of sunbeds 7 days prior, wait 6 weeks from having any botox and filers. Hair removal or waxing can be done 1 week prior.

PATCH TESTS

Green Peel, Lash lift & any tinting patch tests are all required a minimum of 48 hours prior to your treatment. Without this I cannot treat you! If you forget your patch test and turn up to your appointment I will have to turn you away and charge you. These are important for your safety and for insurance purposes.

MAKEUP

Please arrive to your appointment makeup free. This also means NO MASCARA when coming in for lash treatments.

RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATIONS

Reschedules can be made using the CHANGE button on your email up to 48+ hours before. Please let me know with as much notice as possible if you cannot make your appointment. Late cancellations means I will be losing business which has a big impact on a small business like mine. You will be charged 100% of your booking if you are a no show!

PAYMENT

I do not have a card machine so please bring cash or I can give you my bank details at your appointment. Payment must be made on the day.
